Newsletter by ANGOC and AAHM Asia - Vol.1, No.1 January to June 2012
We are pleased to send you the first issue of the Alliance against Hunger and Malnutrition (AAHM) newsletter for the Asian region. AAHM is a global alliance created on the recommendation of the World Food Summit in 2003 by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) together with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), World Food Programme (WFP) and Bioversity International.
The AAHM global partnership brings together local, national and international institutions with the aim of promoting national and regional-level policy dialogue in the fight against hunger. Since its inception, the Alliance has facilitated establishment of National and Regional Alliances throughout the world. The Asian NGO Coalition for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ANGOC) is the Asian AAHM focal point and convenor of AAHM Philippines.
